Daging Cous Cous Briyani

Slow-cooked Beef Brisket Cous cous | Daging Cous Cous Briyani Am inspired by Wonder Woman/Gal Gadot's diet and our local nasi briyani, so I decide to make this dish. It may be an one-pot dish but it takes time and effort. Turns out really yummy though and a hit with the kids so all worth's it.

Cous cous is a type of semolina, a grain that is high in protein, fiber and vitamin B. Great for growing kids. I always pair beef (high iron) with tomato (vitamin C) for better absorption of iron.

Ingredients: - Beef brisket, cubes, 400 gram - Cherry tomato, 150 g - Garlic, head - Kallo beef stock, 1 cube - Cous cous, 1.5 cups - Water Instructions: 1. Bring to boil beef, tomato, garlic and beef stock with just enough water to cover everything. Bring to low heat and simmer for 2 hours or until fork tender. Add water when necessary. 2. Add cous cous. Stir to make sure they are soaked in gravy. The amount of water should be enough to cover all food in a compact manner. Cover pot and cook for 10-15 mins or till the cous cous is al dente.
